Tim brings over 35 years of international consulting experience, much as a lenders’ advisor. This includes extensive ESIA and ESDD experience but also environmental management, governance and compliance. Tim has supported project financing of extractives, petrochemicals, refining, LNG, infrastructure, energy, green steel and battery giga factories; one recent project included financing of nearly €5 billion. In addition, Tim has managed projects to provide support to lenders in the capacity of Lenders Independent Environmental and Social Consultant (LIESC).

Tim was resident in Egypt for nearly three years, based in the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency in Cairo and working from governorate offices in Upper Egypt and the Nile Delta. He also has extremely wide experience internationally including Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, Jordan, Turkey, Iran, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, India, Senegal, Ghana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Thailand and Vietnam to name a few!

When not travelling for work I like to travel for pleasure, preferably somewhere hot. I also enjoy diving and a spot of sea-fishing.
