As Communications Strategist, Siân supports Earth Active and its clients in effective and timely exchange of information, helping to build awareness, understanding, trust and reputation.

Siân’s career has spanned corporate communications, public relations, stakeholder engagement and crisis management, working in boutique and international communications agencies and in-house as EMEA communications lead.

Siân holds BSc Biology from Manchester University. While Siân spent much of her career to date in healthcare, creating and leading campaigns that included stop smoking, cervical cancer vaccination, weight control and the eye condition glaucoma, she built a passion for CSR and sustainability.

As EMEA lead on sustainability for the pharmaceutical company Santen, Siân worked with Earth Active in developing the company’s sustainability strategy and communications, and completed Imperial College Business School’s Sustainability Leadership course in 2022.

Siân moved to join Earth Active in early 2023. As well as developing the Earth Active team’s communications expertise, she is leading internal and external communications and marketing for the business. She has a particular interest in how effective and accurate communications is crucial for companies to tread the line between greenwashing or green-hushing, and from her background in the highly regulated world of medical communications, is proficient in ensuring claims are evidence based and able to withstand scrutiny.

Out of work Siân is passionate about equestrian sport and exercises racehorses on Epsom Downs before work, finds any opportunity to swim outdoors or watch wildlife, and enjoys exploring London with friends.
