A co-founder of Earth Active, Rob is a recognised ESG specialist with over 30 years’ experience supporting financial institutions and the private sector around the world.  An ecologist by training, with specific expertise in IFC PS6, he works across a wide range of projects and asset classes helping them meet the requirements of the IFC Performance Standards, EBRD Performance Requirements, World Bank ESF, ADB Safeguards, Equator Principles and OECD Common Approaches.

Rob brings particular experience as a Lenders Independent Environmental and Social Consultant (IESC) for both large ($10Bn capex plus) and small scale projects and has delivered key internal capacity building initiatives for the World Bank, Equator Principles Association and EBRD amongst many others. 

A former lead technical advisor in PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change team, Rob also brings experience in climate change adaptation and offset projects (including REDD+) and was a co-founder of the UK carbon emissions reduction organisation pure leapfrog.

When he’s not at work Rob enjoys seeing new places, ideally with his family.  You will also find him, at the Rugby, in the hills or on the water.
