Morgan is a Data Scientist with a strong academic background in Data Science, Ecology and Zoology. He has a high proficiency in data analysis, computational modelling and visualisation in R, Python, Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

He previously worked as lead data scientist for Chirrup, who specialise in the applications of computer vision models to monitor farmland bird species, as a science-based biodiversity indicator for agribusiness.

Morgan specialised in Ecology and Data Science at University College London and brings cutting edge ecological monitoring techniques and data analysis methods to Earth Active. He brings a strong technical knowledge to his work at Earth Active leading on database creation and management, data analysis and GIS mapping. He is also competent in machine learning, with experience implementing and modifying deep learning models to analyse vast quantities of visual and audio data.

In his free time, Morgan enjoys baking bread, surfing and hiking in the Welsh mountains.
