
Melissa brings almost 15 years of marketing and communications experience across B2B, B2C and NGO environments, working with organisations at different stages of growth and transformation. She began her career as a copywriter in South Africa, where she developed a strong foundation in storytelling, brand voice and audience-focused content.
Since then, Melissa has honed her operational marketing, content development and strategic communications skills across roles in sustainable food systems and large-scale infrastructure, most recently as part of a UN observer organisation in the LNG space. Her experience spans campaign planning and delivery, stakeholder communications, brand and messaging development, and supporting complex projects that require clear, thoughtful and consistent communication. She is particularly skilled at translating technical or complex ideas into accessible narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
