Madison is an ESG consultant in the ESIA/ESDD team at Earth Active. She has Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography and Environmental Management (University of Otago 2017), and a Master of Arts in Human Geography (University of Otago 2021). As a social scientist-turned-consultant, she brings to the team a systems approach to environmental and international development challenges partnered with experience of supporting clients to make impact through their business.
Prior to joining the team at Earth Active, Madison spent her time on a wide range of consulting, research and community projects in New Zealand with national and global reach, many which focused on agriculture and land use change. She brings to the team experience consulting to corporate industry leaders on the development of nature-positive business strategies, including engagement with frameworks such as SBTN and TNFD. She also has a wealth of research experience on regenerative farming (New Zealand), nature-finance market support (global), urban and ecological planning (Northeast India), community engagement (Chengdu, China), and science communications.
Outside of work, Madi is a keen outdoor enthusiast and loves hiking, running, swimming, or exploring all the culture that London has to offer.
