Hope has twenty years’ experience working with business, government and NGOs across the Middle East, Africa and Europe. She has worked with a range of oil and gas and mining companies, and spent 12 years living and working in the Arabian Gulf. She has strong expertise in impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, sustainability management systems, social investment, community relations, audit and review.
She has a keen interest in worker welfare, and modern slavery and recently led a research project in partnership with the UK government looking at the role of financial institutions in tackling modern slavery.
Hope has an MSc in International Development from the University of London (School of Oriental and African Studies) and an MA in Human Rights and Global Ethics which focused on migrant worker rights in Qatar.
When not working, Hope enjoys walking and running with her dog. She is also Trustee of an anti-slavery charity.
