Brian has over 20 years’ experience in health, safety and environmental management within the infrastructure and energy industry.  He is an experienced management systems auditor and risk assessment specialist.  Also specialising in due diligence of IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles funded projects, particularly PS6 biodiversity.  Brian has contributed to over 50 EIAs and ESHIA reports and has project managed ESHIAs and ESHIA specialist input for several major capital projects. He has extensive experience in marine science and coastal and offshore developments. 

During his career he has worked in senior environmental and safety roles on four major capital energy projects in Africa, Central Asia and Canada. He also has experience of working on ESG assessments and has developed methods for assessing ESG management competency. 

Outside of work Brian enjoys running and hiking. As well as playing the guitar and is a keen amateur photographer.
