Brett Jacobs is a capital markets specialist with over 25 years of experience spanning corporate broking, financial communications and investor relations.
Brett started his career in corporate broking and worked for over a decade with well-regarded investment banks including Hoare Govett, Merrill Lynch and RBC Capital Markets, where he advised companies on raising capital through regulated financial markets and building investor relationships across multiple sectors, including Natural Resources, Technology, Media, Healthcare and Business Support Services.
Brett went on to hold senior roles for over a decade at Citigate Dewe Rogerson and Edelman Smithfield, advising boards and executive teams on communications strategies to build profile, reputation and trust with a wide range of capital market audiences.
As climate change and nature risks have moved up the business and investment agenda, Brett has broadened his expertise to help companies navigate a more complex landscape of ESG-sensitive stakeholders and systemic risks, encouraging a more evidence-based approach to corporate sustainability backed by science-based targets and investment in nature-based solutions.
Brett's experience and expertise further strengthens our work with Financial Institutions and other clients, who are increasingly seeking our support on ESG safeguards and derisking complex investments around the world.
Outside of work, Brett enjoys scuba diving, skiing and discovering new countries when time allows.
