We are looking for our next International ESIA Consultant and an Environmental/Social Project Manager to join our highly dynamic team, supporting an exciting portfolio of work across Africa, Central Asia and other emerging markets.

Experienced ESIA Consultant

Earth Active is seeking a highly capable and self-motivated International ESIA Consultant to join our growing team in a full-time capacity to support our exciting portfolio of work across the Africa, Central Asia and other emerging markets. This is a unique opportunity to join an internationally recognised team who actively seeks out the most interesting and challenging projects. You will have at least 10 years relevant experience and a keen interest in International ESIA and project management.

You will be working in a highly dynamic team comprising ambitious consultants and advisors specialising in Environment, Social, and Governance issues and alongside internationally recognised specialists. This is your opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial team who pride themselves in going beyond our client’s expectations and pre-empting material issues.

The role will focus on:

• Coordination of International ESIA projects, working with our clients, international and national consultants, communities, governments, NGOs and other stakeholders
• Supporting the team in the delivery of significant and complex projects including the analysis of potential impacts and management of reporting
• Supporting business development
• Contributing to the delivery of Earth Active’s wider portfolio of ESG projects.
• Contribute to and manage the successful delivery of proposals and wider business development.

The successful candidate will have:

• Degree(s) in the relevant environmental or social discipline, preferably masters.
• Upwards of 10 years’ relevant experience
• Demonstrable knowledge of the IFC performance standards or similar
• Successful track record in ESIA coordination and delivery
• Excellent organisation, management and communication skills
• A highly ambitious attitude and enjoys responsibility
